Setting Up Your Interview Like a Boss 💪

Step 1: Enable Your Placeholders

Whether you're using Interview Mode or have linked your Zoom account, guest placeholder cameras automatically appear in your Camera menu as Guest 1, Guest 2, Guest 3, and so on. You'll get up to 10 placeholders to play with!

Step 2: Build Your Dream Scenes

1. Create a new Scene for each interview layout you need
2. Add placeholder cameras to your Scenes just like regular cameras
3. Position them exactly where you want your guests to appear
4. Save your Scene and breathe easy!

Step 3: The Magic Moment When your guest joins: Click the ••• menu in their video feed Select Assign to Placeholder Choose the placeholder you want BOOM! They're instantly in position

Pro Tip: Once a guest is assigned to a placeholder, if they disconnect and rejoin, Ecamm remembers! They'll automatically snap back to their assigned spot. No more "which camera were you again?" confusion!
