What we learned from streaming all week, a new tutorial, Creator Camp, and events all week long
Hey Ecamm Fam,
What a week.
Over the last seven days, we’ve loved watching so many of you show up for the 7-Day Live Video Challenge. Some of you went live for the very first time. Some of you experimented with new formats, new workflows, or simply gave yourselves permission to hit “Go Live” without overthinking it.
And honestly? That’s the magic of challenges like this. Not perfection. Not polished production. Just momentum.
If you didn't get a chance to join us for this challenge, don't worry! We're keeping it going this week with our Community Kickstart. Honestly, you can always make the decision to challenge yourself to learn a new skill, get better at the tech, and just put in the reps. We're here to support you on your way!
Now let’s dive into this week’s updates.
COMMUNITY KICKSTART
Let's Keep It Going!
This week’s Community Kickstart Challenge from the Ecamm Fam is simple: schedule ONE livestream this week, share your link with us in the community, and then GO LIVE. Don’t overthink it. The best way to improve is to start. But here’s the fun part: you can also create your OWN challenge in the comments! Maybe your goal is editing a Reel, launching a podcast, fixing your audio setup, or finally organizing your scenes. Big or small, it counts. Then come back to the pinned thread after you complete it and comment: DONE.
Learn how to set up Ecamm Virtual Camera so your full video setup shows up perfectly in Zoom, podcast interviews, meetings, TikTok Live, and more. Instead of sending a raw webcam feed, Ecamm lets you use your entire production—including color correction, overlays, layouts, screen shares, branding, and audio—as a virtual camera source in any app that asks for a camera.
Join us at Creator Camp: Mac Edition this July at Macstock, or come experience our flagship Creator Camp event this September in Portsmouth, NH. Both events are designed to help you create better videos, build smarter workflows, gain confidence on camera, and connect with other creators in a collaborative, hands-on environment.
This isn’t a sit quietly and take notes kind of conference. Creator Camp is built for conversation, creativity, experimentation, and real connection with the Ecamm Fam.
