Your Podcast Already Has More Content Than You Think

The Flow - Summer Edition

WORKFLOWS - EPISODE 4 OF 4

Thinking about repurposing differently

Hi Reader,

Last week, we kicked off our Summer Growth Series with one simple idea: Small improvements beat big overhauls.

This week, we're tackling something that's just as important and something we see creators struggle with all the time.

Who are you actually making your podcast for?

More and more people are discovering podcasts through short-form video, especially on their phones. That's why vertical video has become such a powerful growth tool.

One of the easiest ways to get more value from every episode is to think about clipping while you're recording.

If you're using Ecamm, you can drop markers throughout your recording to make great moments easier to find later. Just press that M key and Ecamm will handle the rest.

If you know you'll be creating Shorts, Reels, or TikToks, consider recording a vertical version from the start. Doing a little extra work during production can save you a surprising amount of time in post-production. Ecamm's Dual Mode is here to help make it easy for you.

Remember: your clips shouldn't just be advertisements for your podcast. The best-performing clips often provide value all on their own.

They teach something, share an interesting insight, answer a question, or tell a story. When someone gets value from a clip, they're naturally more likely to seek out the full episode.

And when it comes to discoverability, don't get too distracted by algorithms, keywords, and SEO tactics. Those things matter, but they're not the foundation.

The foundation is creating content that genuinely helps, educates, or entertains your audience.

The platforms are getting better and better at finding the right people for useful content.

Your job is simply to make the content worth discovering.

Here's to better content and workflows,
The Ecamm Team
